First Impressions
Whilst on the trail of inexpensive pocket gadgets I stumbled across these nifty little Saw's.
As I'm currently in the middle of knocking up a Survival/Bug Out kit for someone I thought these might be a useful addition.

The Saw arrived colied up in a small clear baggie. As this Saw is virtually unbreakable there was no need for over packaging the item at the factory. - fair enough

Uncolied the Saw measures approximately 2 feet in length.
It's made from several toothed wires twisted together to form one strong single blade. This seems to work really well.
At either end of the saw blade is a split ring which can be tethered to something else if required.

The steel used here is not too bad, I'm not sure if it's toughened or stainless steel? but it does feel incredibly strong.

Safety:
Although it may resemble a piece of barbed wire it's isn't actually sharp to the touch.
You would need to go through the motions of sawing for it to pose any kind of risk of injury.
However, in the wrong hands it could easily be used as a snare or strangling device - maybe accidentally if little kids could get hold it so keeping this thing away from idiots and small children is a must.
This saw is capable of cutting through bone so care and common sense is required when sawing wood up.  - Trying to avoid the wire slipping off the cutting surface is key in that respect!

Testing:
Finding something suitable to test this thing on proved rather difficult. I didn't have any wood off-cuts knocking about and I wasn't prepared to perform unnecessary surgery on the tree in the garden, instead I opted to 'borrow' a yard brush from someone and take the Saw to its handle.

Cutting a deep channel in the brush handle was easier than I'd anticipated.
The secret to success is keeping the wire taught at all times.
A firm finger grip on each ring is also a must. If the wire becomes slack then it can pop out from the groove that is being cut but this is easily avoided with tight wires.

Cuts like a Knife through Butter.... impressive

Rating: ✅✅✅✅✅ 5 out of 5
Wether it's pruning trees in the garden, cutting wood for a fire or even destroying a perfectly good brush handle this tiny tool will do the lot with ease! I cant believe it to be honest.

A fully working pocket Saw for 32p?! Sheer bargain madness
