This handy little Gadget was purchased a few months ago when it was reduced to £19.99. A laser Thermometer was on my wish list and so this sub £20 item seemed worthy of a chance.
Having used these devices before I knew what to expect and how they worked. Once the batteries were installed, some test readings were taken and these were completed rapidly and accurately (or there abouts). The reading is taken by holding down the trigger for a second or two then releasing to leave the fixed temp on screen. Releasing the trigger also instantly resets the unit and its ready to go again straight away.
Measured accuracy was very good and within the +/- tolerances.
Battery life is very good and a full set should last for months and months.

A great little Gadget, this Thermometer will accurately measure temperatures and hold them instantly. If you are on a budget amd need IR then this item could be for you. Cheap as chips!

The price is now £39.99 which keeps this device from getting 5 ticks in the review. Back when it was £19.99 there was nothing really to compete with at that price point. Now I'm not so sure!
