First Impressions
Currently I'm receiving torches through my door on a daily basis and this little luminescent number has been eluding my letterbox for some time 😣.
It arrived this morning packaged in the standard bubble wrap air mail pouch.  Inside was the large triple diode torch. Just as hefty and just as mean looking as the ebay picture described.
It's actually bigger than I had imagined, but I'm not complaining.
The heavy aluminium body is of a high quality. The anodised black finish is very good and looks like it could take a few knocks without scratching. This torch is advertised as being shockproof and well as water resistant. Well it definitely going to be shockproof by the looks of it.
The reflector is a split arrangement which centres around each T6 bulb individually.  The Lens is made from a reasonably thick piece of glass and is flat not convex. The screw fittings are well produced and fitted with rubber O-rings for waterproofing.
Talking of Waterproofing........This flashlight is advertised as being suitable for scuba divers. And I'm sure I saw 'to 80m' mentioned also. This (if true) makes this item much more useful.
Straight out of the Packet you can probably believe the claims. The heavy duty glass lens and good quality rubber rings would suggest that they have made a reasonable attempt at waterproofing.
Overall first Impressions are very good indeed.

Size Comparison: from left to right single cell Q5, standard Ultrafire T6 and lastly a very large chess piece! 😁

Extra information
It's worth mentioning that this device has more refined function modes than the standard 3 mode or 5 mode options you commonly get with these Chinese made Flashlights.
This torch offers 8 separate settings to select comprising of 4 brightness and 4 strobe options.
The strobe is not that useful but the brightness step increases are subtle and if set low could help to extend the life of the battery. I have yet to test this theory though.

Testing
For a £2 torch this thing is insane! It's basically three T6 torches in one.
Beam strength and clarity are fantastic.

On full power it was easy to light up the bushes. On a throw distance test this torch was able to project onto a tree around 100ft away.  Not bad at all

Yes it's waterproof. Thanks to the double O-rings onboard.

I thought it might be a good idea to test its water resisting capabilities so I filled the sink and threw it in for half an hour.
Nothing bad to report. The double rubber rings at the screw fix points really keep the water out well. No water was found in either the battery compartment or the head.  Could you use this for scuba diving? Not sure how this will perform at higher pressures to be honest.

Rating: ✅✅✅✅✅
This cheap Chinese masterpiece sticks two fingers up to the saying "You get what you paid for"
On offer here is worth much much more than the £2 price tag would have you believe. It's a superbly constructed all weather heavy duty flashlight which completely leaves many of my other T6 torches in its wake. It's awesome!
I would recommend that you buy one but I want them all for myself!!

Fantastic value!
